The Manitoba Stick Curling Association (MSCA) is excited to announce the launch of the Manitoba Stick Curling Development Centre (MSCDC) with the support of St. Vital Curling Club. The MSCDC will focus on promoting 2 Person Stick Curling in Manitoba and in particular clinics to introduce new curlers to 2 Person Stick curling, clinics to assist regular curlers with the transition to using a delivery stick, advanced clinics focusing on skill development for existing stick curlers, practice time for stick curlers, introductory and advanced clinics for regular curlers and on ice clinician, umpire and coach skill development. We invite all curlers to visit the MSCDC page of the MSCA website to view education and practice time opportunities.

MSCT team standings

The Manitoba Stick Curling Tour (MSCT) is pleased to announce the inaugural winners of the MSCT Western Mixed, Men’s and Women’s divisions. Winners receive paid entry into their respective 2026 Manitoba Stick Curling Association (MSCA) Provincial Championships. The winners in the Western Women’s Division are Sherry Bergen and Helena Borst from Elm Creek Curling Club, Western Men’s Division Rick Willetts and Larry Weatherburn from Ericksdale Curling Club and the Western Mixed Division Evelyn and Andre Sanders from Manitou Curling Club. Winning teams that attend the 2026 MSCA Provincial Championships, will also receive a $200 Travel Allowance.

The winners in the Central Women’s Division are Bev Schick and Lorna Marr from St. Vital and Springfield Curling Clubs, Central Men’s Division Warren Johnson and Dan McDonald from St. Vital Curling Club and the Central Mixed Division Ralph Nespor and Norma Purdy from Access Curling Club Stonewall and Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club.  Winning teams that attend the 2026 MSCA Provincial Championships, will also receive a $200 Travel Allowance.

Acquiring/Accumulating Tour Points

Men's, Women's and Mixed Champions will be based on team's best five MSCT qualifying events.

All participating team members will acquire:

5 MSCT points for participating in a MSCT event;
Additional MSCT points will be awarded as outlined here
